New Dial-Up Email Settings: Outlook 97
To work with our new nationwide dial-up numbers, you will need to change your mail configuration slightly. When you update to your new access number, you will need update your incoming and outgoing mail servers as described below. (These settings do not apply to DSL customers.)
In Outlook, go to the Tools menu, select Services, highlight your SpeedGate email account, then click on the Properties button. Click on the Servers tab.
For Outgoing Mail (SMTP), enter dialup-smtp.speed.net. For Incoming Mail (POP3), enter dialup-pop.speed.net. Click on OK until you return to the main Outlook window. You may need to quit and restart Outlook for the settings to take effect.
