New Dial-Up Email Settings:
Netscape 6 or Mozilla

To work with our new nationwide dial-up numbers, you will need to change your mail configuration slightly. When you update to your new access number, you will need update your incoming and outgoing mail servers as described below. (These settings do not apply to DSL customers.)

In Netscape's Mail & News window, go to the Edit menu and select Mail/News Account Settings. Highlight Outgoing (SMTP) Server and change it to dialup-smtp.speed.net.

As of this writing, Netscape 6 does not support changing the incoming server on a mail account. In future versions, you will likely be able to simply select Server Settings under your current account and change the setting listed under Server Name.

For now, you may be able to get your account to work using mail.speed.net as the incoming server, but to update the settings you will need to create a new account in Netscape. Still in the Mail/News Account Settings, click on New Account, select ISP or email provider, and follow the wizard through, using the same settings you had before except for the POP server.
