New Dial-Up Email Settings:
Netscape Communicator 4.x

To work with our new nationwide dial-up numbers, you will need to change your mail configuration slightly. When you update to your new access number, you will need update your incoming and outgoing mail servers as described below. (These settings do not apply to DSL customers.)

In Netscape, go to the Edit menu and select Preferences. Under Mail & Newsgroups, select Mail Servers.

Change the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server to dialup-smtp.speed.net, then highlight mail.speed.net in the list of Incoming Mail Servers, click on Edit, and change it to dialup-pop.speed.net. Click on OK until you return to the main Netscape window.

If you have outgoing messages waiting to be sent, you may need to re-send them.
