New Dial-Up Email Settings:
Eudora 3 or Eudora Lite 3

To work with our new nationwide dial-up numbers, you will need to change your mail configuration slightly. When you update to your new access number, you will need update your incoming and outgoing mail servers as described below. (These settings do not apply to DSL customers.)

In Eudora, go to the Tools menu (Windows) or Special menu (Macintosh) and select Options. Scroll all the way to the top and the Getting Started section. The POP Account field in the Eudora settings looks like an e-mail address, but it isn't. Rather than yourname@speed.net, it should be yourname@dialup-pop.speed.net.

Click on the Hosts icon if it is present, otherwise click on Checking Mail. Set the SMTP Server to be dialup-smtp.speed.net.
