Spam/Virus Blacklist

If you are here, chances are your email to a SpeedGate customer was blocked with a message directing you here. In addition to using external blacklists of known spam senders and open relays, we maintain this local list of mail servers that have sent us spam in the past. We also block virus senders for four days.

Before you continue, please verify that the URL you see above is listed in the rejection message. If not, you were blocked based on a different list (one which we do not maintain) or by content filtering.

If your system is on this list, this means one of the following happened:

  1. Someone using your mail server sent email to a large number of nonexistent addresses on our system, known as a "dictionary attack."
  2. Someone using your mail server sent email to an address on our server which has never been valid, has never been publicized, and is not a likely contact point.
  3. Your mail server sent a known mass-mailing virus to us recently.
  4. Your server was added manually in response to spam or viruses originating from it.

If your mail has been blocked incorrectly, please fill out our contact form and we will look into the matter.
