Mail Exchanges
A mail exchange is not an e-mail box, but rather an alias that redirects e-mail destined for one location to another. For example, if you had a web page at www.example.com, you could have all mail addressed to info@example.com go to your personal e-mail address (bob@speed.net, or bob@aol.com, etc). Maybe you want ALL mail going to example.com to go to bob@speed.net -- a mail exchange can also do that. They can also be as simple as redirecting mail for info@example.com to sales@example.com.
You can also use a "catch-all" exchange to avoid losing misspelled mail. If we host email for your domain, you can set up an exchange that will accept any mail sent to an undefined address.
